The new baby (book) is born!

The challenging work is done. It’s in the publisher’s hands now. The long wait begins. It’s not on Amazon yet, but it will be a pre-sale item soon. It’s hard to believe this is my fourth book. It makes me wonder what some of my teachers in high school might say! Surprise, surprise.

Authoring a book is like waiting for the birth of a child. The author’s heart and soul are in the effort, and the challenge of delivering a perfect offspring of words is daunting. Then, as the author sits with the last version of the multi-times edited manuscript in his hands, ready to submit it, he realizes that the book’s gestation period is all but complete. His work is done. It’s now in the hands of the literary world’s midwife, the publisher. He knows that all the heavy work is now behind him, and he has only to wait a brief time longer.

She’ll be available on Amazon and multiple book sources well before Christmas.
