(Yes, even you.)

You know, “Help Wanted” usually smells like work… the kind with timecards, supervisors, and fluorescent lights that hum like a bad mood. But when you see a sign like the one above. . . “Volunteers Needed”, you automatically think: no paycheck, probably cookies, and definitely a clipboard.

So which is it? Work or whimsy? Pay or play? Hired help or helpful humans?

Relax. No need to get your britches bunched over the semantics. This isn’t about clocking in, and you’re not being voluntold (though it might feel a little like that, bless your heart). I’m just inviting you into something new, something fun, something that won’t cost you a dime or a drop of sweat… just a few minutes of your time and a dash of curiosity. We have help wanted for this exciting venture.

Here’s the short version: I started with ten possible titles, wrestled it down to five that I genuinely love, and now I want you, yes, you, to help me pick the winner. Why? Because readers like you make this kind of book worth writing. • The Sassback Society – witty, opinionated, and proudly unpaid.
• Old Guy’s Inner Circle – exclusive, but not snooty.
• The Brain Trust (Sorta) – because wisdom comes in all ages… and forms.
• Grit, Wit & Wisdom Council – sounds almost important, doesn’t it?
• The Coffee Table Cabinet – half kitchen table, half book club, all heart.
